Although the game is officially licensed under Ubisoft, the core gameplay is merely adapted from The Tower. It’s more like playing the classic Tower game but in Assassin’s Creed skin. The Gameplay

The mechanics for The Tower Assassin’s Creed is basically the same with its predecessor. It is a one-tap gameplay where your goal is to build the tallest tower. You must stack the blocks one after another until you lose them all. Precision plays an important role in this game to maximize your scores. As soon as the game begins, it prompts you right away to the tower. The blocks will appear one at a time which will constantly move on both sides. Simply tap the screen to drop the block and next block will appear.

It is very important to land the block on top of the platform, otherwise the game will come to a quick end. If the block lands on the platform but is not perfectly aligned with it, the excess part will be cut off. Basically, the length of the block will drastically decrease as you progress which makes the game a lot more challenging. Collect Helix and Unlock New Characters

One thing you will enjoy when you download The Tower Assassins Creed is the ability to unlock new characters. This is where the whole Assassin’s Creed Concept is being embraced the most. Interestingly, there are nine Assassin’s Creed characters to unlock and each came from different Assassin’s Creed game. The default character is Altair from the first Assassin’s Creed video game. Eventually, you can unlock the rest of the characters including the twins Evie and Jacob Fyre from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Others include Bayek of Siwa (Assasin’s Creed Origins), Ezio from Assassin’s Creed II and Aguilar De Nerha from Assassin’s Creed movie. Adewale and Aveline from Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate and Arno Dorian from Unity are also part of the game. Interestingly, these characters are not easily unlockable. Players must collect enough Helix to obtain them. You can collect Helix after each game where your character will free-fall from the top of the tower where you can pick up Helix along the way.

Unlock New Maps

Another thing you will love when you download The Tower Assassins Creed is the map. There are 5 locations in this game that you can unlock after reaching certain levels. You start off with Masyaf Castle in Syria. You can only unlock the rest of the locations after reaching certain levels. Other locations include Granada (Level 5), Florence (Level 10), Giza (Level 13)and London (Level 15). All locations were based on the settings from different Assassin’s Creed games.

Take Advantage of the Power Ups

Interestingly, before you start a new round, you can equip the character with power ups. You can buy these boosters using your Helix. These power ups include Headstart which builds perfect stack of blocks as you start. Slow Time slows down the block’s movements while Helix Magnet attracts nearby Helix as you fall down. You can also UNDO your last action in exchange of Helix too. You can also get another chance to continue by paying the same currency.

Verdict

Game wise, The Tower Assassin’s Creed managed to capture the same addictive gameplay of The Tower. The repetitive task however affects the overall replay value of this game. As far as the Assassin’s Creed concept, the game may not give you the same AC experience but you can appreciate the elements applied in this game. The well-fitting music is also noteworthy. Overall, it is an entertaining game and something you can freely enjoy even without Internet connection.
