The Gameplay

The mechanics of the game are generally simple and easily manageable. As soon as the game begins, it prompts you right away to the first level. You will be dealing with the same scenario but will be facing against different Pinatas. Typically, a level is composed of a single hanging pinata above the game screen. Your character, on the other hand, is at the bottom and will actively move on both sides of the screen. To smash the pinata, simply tap the screen. You can also tap and hold for continuous shots but be mindful that each weapon comes with limited ammunition.

In order to clear a level, you must be able to destroy the pinata using the limited ammo you are allotted per level. Initially, you start off with a throwing knife but you can eventually upgrade it to a more powerful one. The process is actually very repetitive but as you progress, the pinata will become more durable and it forces you to make upgrades in order to destroy them. Obstacles will also appear from time to time which adds more thrill and challenge to the game.

Upgrade The Weapons

Pinatamasters will rely heavily on weapons and upgrades. In order to win this game, you must be able to unleash your weapon’s full potential. You can only do so by upgrading them. In between each attempt, the upgrade window will appear which allows you to improve your current weapon. An individual weapon can be upgraded to make them more efficient. There are two types of attributes you can improve including the Power and the Ammo. Power basically increases the fire rate which allows you to inflict more damage while Ammo increases the number of shots you can throw per attempt.

Both Power and Ammo are important attributes you need to upgrade to cope up with the game’s increasing rate of difficulty. Whether you have successfully destroyed the pinata or not, you will be able to reap rewards in the form of Gold coins which serve as the game’s virtual currency. If you have earned enough money, you can buy new types of weapons with stronger fire rate and bigger ammo capacity too.

Pop-Culture Reference and Boss Battles

Much like Partymasters, Pinatamasters also features some pop culture references. You will encounter popular figures like a Miley Cyrus inspired character, Trump and many others. Llamas and Unicorns are few of the most common characters you will encounter in this game. There are also some references to some famous games like the Creeper mob from Minecraft and the Ragdoll in Kick The Buddy game. It is also interesting to note that you can also upgrade your character and buy a new avatar.

Pinatamasters also features Boss battles which you will encounter from time to time. Boss battles are not really different to a normal level in terms of the gameplay.
