From the developers behind some of the most addictive puzzle games today like OnPipe and Sand Balls comes another equally-engaging puzzle you will surely enjoy. House Paint is a simple yet fun and surprisingly addictive puzzle that will take you to a series of colorful and challenging levels. As what the title of the game suggests, your main objective in this game is nothing more but to paint all the houses. The goal is to swipe your paint tools and cover all the white walls to clear the level and progress to a new one. Sounds simple indeed but the game is surprisingly tricky. If you think you got the right skills, feel free to explore House Paint and see how far you can go.
Much like most games developed by SayGames, House Paint is characterized by its overall simplicity. Fun, simple and addictive! That is how you can perfectly describe this game. The mechanics are generally simple and easily manageable. However, despite the apparent simplicity, players are strongly encouraged to visualize the puzzle carefully and establish the most effective strategy to win the game. Otherwise, despite the fact that all puzzles are 100% possible to solve, you might find yourself stuck on the same level.
Here’s how the game works. As soon as the game begins, it prompts you right away to the first house. Take note that houses will vary in terms of their sizes and shapes. To start painting, simply swipe your finger to any direction you wishes to. Much like games like Sokoban, you cannot undo your action in this game. As soon as you swipe the paint tool up, you will paint all the white area in that direction. The only way to stop the brush is by bumping to object like bricks, windows or plant boxes. The level is cleared when all the walls were painted.
Unlock New Tools and Complete Epic Levels
The rate of difficulty for House Paint is drastically increasing as you progress. You will eventually encounter taller buildings and others with strategically-positioned walls. No matter how difficult the puzzles are, the game assures that all the puzzles are 100% possible to solve. It is very interesting to note that the game has no limit. You can spend as many time as you want without violation or penalty. There’s also no limited moves so you can definitely pass through the same spot over and over without any score deduction.
In fact, the game has no scoring system at all. If the game noticed that you are seemingly spending much time on a level, they will offer you to skip the wall by watching a reward video. This is actually a clever way to place an advertisement but you will still encounter overwhelming ads in between each level which is quite a downside for House Paint. Players can also unlock new tools not by purchasing them on a shop but through Epic Levels. You will encounter Epic Levels from time to time and it allows you to unlock new Skin or Paint Tool. Epic Levels are often more challenging compared to basic levels.
Build Your City
If you think that this game is all about house painting, think again! House Paint also allows you to build your own city and transform it from a simple village to a grand metropolis. To access the City, simply head over to the main page and tap on “My City”. This will prompt you to your virtual city. Initially, you start occupying one slot. Each Building comes with two forms of upgrades; the House and the Area. They can be upgraded in two different ways. The House requires a certain amount of gems which you earn in various ways. Gems are obtained every time you completed a level and also by collecting them from the previously established houses on the city (you can collect gems in certain time duration).
Take note that the prizes per upgrade will increase exponentially. Every time you made an upgrade, you’ll earn experiences and if you have earned enough, you will gain a new level which allows you to add more houses to your city. The Area, on the other hand, can only be upgraded by watching reward videos. This particular feature provides House Paint remarkable replay value.
Colorful, fun and addictive. That is exactly how House Paint can be defined. Despite the simplicity, it comes with a decent amount of difficulty which makes the game even more engaging and fun. To top it all, the game works perfectly fine even without an Internet connection which allows you to play this game anywhere and anytime you wishes to. House Paint is also a very light game that will not consume much of your phone storage. If you are looking for a simple game with amazing replay value, House Paint is absolutely a perfect fit. Currently, the game is available for both Android and iOS devices and you can download this addictive puzzle for free. Good luck and have fun!
