Now that we are brought to an entirely new map for the new season, it will take some time to master everything in Fortnite. Although we are still exploring the old yet half-submerged map, everything has changed. For instance, we no longer have those henchmen chests randomly scattered on the island (Check: How and Where to Get Powerful Starter Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2). Interestingly, navigating the new map for Season 3 is quite a trick. There are ziplines almost everywhere, there are rideable sharks, and there are new Points of interest to explore. Despite the massive changes, the game still follows the same battle royale format. Everyone will enter the battleground weaponless and they should scavenge immediately before they get killed by the enemies. Today, we’re listing down some of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 best landing spots.

The Basement House in the Northeast of Lazy Lake

Luckily, our favorite basement house in the Northeast of Lazy Lake remained intact despite the devastating flood event that took place last season. It remains to be one of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 best landing spots for many reasons. First of all, the basement still houses a scanner-free henchman chest along with a standard loot chest located just beside it. You can also spot another loot chest within the house and an overwhelming number of ammo boxes nearby. Secondly, this is one of the less congested areas on the map since last season. If you need to farm up materials, you can spot many trees, a park, and an empty van near the bridge.

The Camping Area in Misty Meadows

Since Misty Meadows is one of the unharmed locations in the new map, the camping area is still intact. It is located on high ground in the first place. On the northeast part of the Misty Meadows is a mountain where a small camping area can be found. Hiding under one of the tents is another scanner free henchman chest. Since there are few buildings nearby, this is a safe place to start your journey and to prepare yourself for the upcoming battle especially when playing Arena mode. Most of the items you can loot from this chest are weapons with Rare or Legend rarity, building materials, potions, and medkits.

The Highest Building of Sweaty Sands

We should have included this drop spot on our previous list but we’re glad that we still have this structure for the new season. The highest building in Sweaty Sands which played a huge role during the Deadpool Final Weekly challenge is indeed one of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 best landing spots. Make sure to land on the rooftop to take advantage of every loot in the building. There is an Ice Chest on the rooftop and almost every floor comes with a loot chest along with ammo boxes that are randomly scattered on the building. By the time you reach the lowest ground, you are already well-prepared for the battle.

The Secret Pawntoon

One of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 best landing spots would be the secret pontoon boat. This landmark is known as the Pawntoon, a small pontoon boat that spawns randomly in the water along the edge of the new map in every match. Therefore, this landmark has no stable location. What makes it special is that the boat is remarkably filled with an overwhelming number of loots. There are treasure chests, slurf tanks, ice chests, food boxes, and more. Once you are done gathering all the things you need, you don’t need to waste time swimming at your next location because there’s a motorboat attached to it that you can use right away.

Catty Corner

One of the newest locations in the new season is Catty Corner. It is a boss area headed by Kit (Meowscles’ son) and is heavily guarded by his henchmen. There are three structures in this particular area; the gasoline station where Kit is often found, the vault area (the former box factory guarded by Meowscles), and a Cafe. All buildings are filled with many loot chests and forage boxes. The Cafe, for instance, has a huge number of food boxes that you can freely consume. Forage items like apple, bananas, cabbages, coconuts, pepper, and bananas can all be looted from the cafe. If you and your team are lucky enough to defeat Kit, you can obtain two of his mythic weapons such as the shockwave launcher and the mythic charge shotgun.  You’ll also earn his keycard to open his vault.

Since we only have three boss domains in Season 3, Catty Corner is one of the highly contested areas. You are most likely to deal with many opponents in the area so be very cautious and try not to get killed. Nevertheless, Catty Corner is still one of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 best landing spots.

The Authority

Much like the Agency from the previous season, Authority is one of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 best landing spots. Even though the area is heavily guarded by Jules’ henchmen, the landmark is remarkably filled with many loot chests. The basement and the upper floors have random henchmen chests you can unvault by disguising as henchmen. Of course, if you are lucky enough to defeat Jules on her domain, you can obtain two of her mythic weapons (Mythic Drum Gun and a Mythic Glider Gun) and her keycard to access the vault. The area is also filled with zip lines for a quick escape in case the area became crowded by many players. Just be careful with the sharks lurking around.

No Sweat Storage

Located on the eastern side of the new Frenzy Farm is a floating building that is obviously owned by the No Sweat Insurance company. This is the No Sweat Storage building that is also filled with an overwhelming number of loots. The building comes with multiple compartments that you might need to destroy to access them. It also houses the controversial golden Midas Chair (Check: Fortnite Easter Eggs for Chapter 2 Season 3 That You Should Not Miss). The area is also less congested so you can gather all the loots inside without worrying about the competition.
